Transportation- 6th Agers: 

The 6th Agers worked on inventing transportation devices for their space community. Our initial designs featured the use of Sphero RVR, however, after many tests it became clear that RVR was not our best option as it was difficult to program accurately. After reflecting and improving on our ideas, we ended up designing Lego vehicles inspired by different forms of transportation on Earth that we could attach to the Dash robots, which the 7th Agers had programmed to go through the community safely and accurately.

Communication- 7th Agers: 

One of the greatest challenges in our space community was creating a communication device fit for space. Given that sound does not travel through space, we had to come up with various solutions. After brainstorming ideas, we decided to take it back to the “snail mail” days and create a MailBot. We programmed Dash to go to every space home to deliver messages. We then attached a launcher and programmed it to launch a ball with a message stuck to it. Using this method we were able to deliver messages to our friends’ homes most of the time.
